I had some high hopes for Sundaras Resort & Spa Dambulla, especially given its beautiful location near the Sigiriya Rock and Dambulla Cave Temple. However, my experience was marred by some disappointing aspects, particularly with the dining and the state of the facilities. Despite these issues, the attentive staff did their best to enhance my stay, which somewhat made up for the shortcomings. 🌄

However, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with muddy paths and hair-clogged drains. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but there were significant areas for improvement.

The food was amazing, and the staff, especially the manager Mr. Siddu, were exceptionally helpful. However, dinner prices were quite high, which took away from an otherwise perfect experience.
